The Ukraine administration gets a big raise in gambling during the past decade. They have vowed now to set an end to it. The parliament allowed a Bill on Friday that would temporarily stop all type of gambling including slot parlors and casinos in the state.
The administration ordered the gambling couldn’t proceed until the area of the casinos as well as slot halls were moved to an approved gambling-zone from the capital. The permitted zone is near the Black Sea. Legislator Valery Pysarenko said “The gambling addiction has turned into an epidemic.” He added “Today marks a big victory for all Ukrainians.” The legislators were mostly concerned about the gambling epidemic that had spread to the young.
Currently operated, most of the casinos and slot parlors are doing business without any rules and regulation. That had become concerning for legislators. They estimated that more than $5 billion is being wagered and only a little portion of that are being paid taxes to the country.
But after the passing of the law, if anybody is caught gambling at present, he/she face the risk of being throne to prison. He or she also can receive fines for the gambling activity. This Bill is a move and lawmakers feel that it will facilitate to rid the country of the recent gambling problem. However, the final goal of the country is to establish an entertainment destination like Las Vegas in an approved zone.
