Some states have addressed ATM access at casinos since last few months. The aim of those states to move ATM machines outside and away from casinos. With this processes players did not get easy access to cash. But in New Mexico, they get a different idea. Most of the lawmakers decide to make it as easy as possible for gamblers in order to stay in the casino. That’s why, they are now involve passing a Bill that would allow ATM machines in the same rooms where gambling is taking place. New Mexico is a state located in the southwestern region of the United State.
The Bill’s sponsor, Richard Martinez said “It is a matter of convenience, and convenience for handicapped patrons.” Whereas he cites convenience as one of his reasons for the Bill, it is clear the law would be to facilitate casinos at tracks compete with Indian tribe casinos in New Mexico. Tribal casinos get ATM machines right usually in the lobby of their casinos. That allows gamblers to simply walk a couple of steps and receive money.
The Bill gets a lot of support from different classes and appears headed towards being passed. However, there are some opponents who think that the ATM machines would lead to more problem gamblers. Their point of view like that it is such issue that has been debated in some states and studies have been done on the effects an ATM on a casino floor has on gamblers. Observer Mickey Brullete said “To say that this is convenience is ridiculous. The truth is, if people don’t have to leave, then they spend more money and the state makes more money. It is about generating more revenue, not convenience.”

These games are a mere computer program designed to create an exact return on investment for the casino operator, it is legal thievery
